Statement by our Central Executive Board:
The recent airstrikes following the attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) facilities in Ankara, only serve to deepen the violence in the region.
Bombardments targeting several areas in Northern and Eastern Syria, particularly Kobanî, endanger civilian lives. The devastating impact of this conflict risks a profound catastrophe for all parties in the region.
Military operations that target civilians are also violations of international law.
Continuing the cycle of war and conflict will bring nothing but further pain and loss.
We call on all sides to embrace dialogue and peaceful resolutions.
